Hi there. My name is Wilfredo Flores—you can call me Wil if that's easier for you—and here's a little bit about me.
Currently, I'm a PhD student at Michigan State University in the Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures program. I specialize in cultural rhetorics, and I am particularly interested in queer theory/rhetorics, digital humanities and rhetoric, sexual health communication, and video game studies. For my CV, details about my research interests, my current works, designs I've done, and information about my podcast, click the button below.
I also work part-time as a writing consultant with The Writing Center @ MSU, for which I am also the current outreach coordinator. Outside of my academic and professional work, you might find me at the gym, on a trail somewhere (though, as a Texan the cold here in Michigan is getting me down), reading some choice queer and/or science-fiction literature, or playing/streaming video games.
If you'd like to learn more about my work, collaborate on a project, or just connect, feel free to reach out to me on any social media below (unless it’s LinkedIn, you weirdo ... unless you want to hire me, you awesome person).
